Medical mission to Ethiopia – children arrive in Israel

July 30 2014 Six children from Ethiopia have arrived in Israel and are settling in at the SACH house whilst beginning to receive the medical care they require. They are the first children to come to Israel for their life-saving surgery following the medical mission we carried out in Ethiopia last month. We evaluated 111

Wolfson Medical Centre Team: Dr. Tamir, Head of Pediatric Cardiology, Nava Gershon, Head Nurse of the Pediatric Surgical Ward  Yifat Brosh, echo technician. Ethiopia Medical Team: Prof. Abraham Haimeamlak, Jimma University Hospital; Dr. Etsegenet Gebre, Black Lion Hospital Adis Ababa. Both Ethiopian doctors received their training in pediatric cardiology at Wolfson Medical Center in Israel, through Save a Child’s Heart.
