January Visits

January 1, 2020

The beginning of 2020 kicked off with a variety of visits to SACH, from international youth groups, schools, Israeli soldiers and individuals to delegations of members of the German Bundestag, the Governor of Antwerp and a delegation of French women from the film and media industry.

SACH was honored to host every visit welcoming the growth in awareness and support for the global mission of providing treatment to children suffering from congenital heart disease.

The visits by the German Bundestag delegation, Governor of Antwerp, Mrs. Cathy Berx, and French women from the media industry were all introduced to the lifesaving activities of Save a Child's Heart and visited the Wolfson Medical Center (WMC) and SACH House to see the positive impact made thanks to the treatments provided to the children.  Each visit was filled with discussions and questions and the German Bundestag delegation was even able to communicate via live video conference call with the joint SACH Israeli-German catheterization mission to Tanzania, speaking with SACH volunteer physician and Senior Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist at the WMC Dr. Sagi Assa, SACH Tanzanian trainee Pediatric Cardiologist Dr. Stella Mongella, and Drs. Felix Berger and Stephan Schubert of the Deutsches Herzzentrum in Berlin.
