The Canadian Tenors and Juno Award Winner Sophie Milman in Concert

On Wednesday May 13, Save a Child's Heart Canada and The Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University created an evening together to benefit children with heart disease.  Over 650 people came out to enjoy an evening of musical talent and to support and learn about SACH and IMRIC (The Hebrew University’s Institute of Medical Research Israel-Canada)

Highlights of the evening included the young voices from the Toronto Heschel School Choir who sang a few songs with The Canadian Tenors and a guest appearance by Yevgeni Shapovalov – the Israeli Opera Star.

Fifty percent of the funds raised from this event will support cardiac surgery for four young children from Gaza, Ethiopia and Nigeria; the other fifty percent will be directed to support pediatric cardiac research through IMRIC.
